Dry wood termites generally live in un-decayed wood that has very low moisture content. Unlike subterranean termites, they can live without soil contact, which means that they are a serious threat to movable wooden objects such as furniture.

It looks like the Pest Control Industry, will be moving over to the Arizona Agriculture Department sometime in June of this year. I attended the public hearing in Phoenix on Feb. 7, 2008. I left with a very good first impression. Jack Peterson with the AG department was all ears on trying to make this move as easy as possible. Although there was not enough time to cover everything, I believe at the moment, it will be a good thing. Alot of questions have yet to be answered. Laws and rules will need to be changed. But, for now it's business as usual |
